Disney has released a new trailer for its upcoming live-action adaptation, based on its animated classic, as well as pulling from its original story counterpart, Mulan. The new trailer gives us plenty of amazing new footage, as well as a beautiful nod to the original animated film, with the backing music. Unfortunately, it’s already been confirmed that Mulan will have no musical numbers, and the songs will be strictly instrumental, this time around.
This new adaptation of Mulan is directed by Niki Caro and stars Liu Yifei as the titular her alongside Donnie Yen, Jet Li, Jason Scott Lee, Gong Li, Yoson An, Tzi Ma, and Rosalind Chao.
Mulan hits theaters on March 20th, 2020.
