First Trailer for Slice Debuts

A24 has debuted the first official trailer for its laughably low-budget, yet exceptionally cast, horror comedy, Slice. Starring Zazie Beetz (Deadpool 2), Hannibal Buress (TAG), Chance the Rapper, and Paul Scheer (Stranger Things), Slice follows a pair of demon hunters that discover a gateway to hell under their favorite pizza place.

It looks like a great time, with its intentionally bad effects and cinematography, Slice is set to be a fantastic piece of B-movie satire.

Pull Box: August 15

The first step to Bruce Wayne remembering who he is, and why he put on the suit has passed. He made a mistake with Freeze, and had to fix that mistake. Now that he has, he’s begun to move on from his heartbreak. How he’ll get past this, I’m not sure, but putting his old suit back on at least makes for one hell of a closing image for this issue.
That was one hell of a set-up for a massive reveal! The entire Earth is a White Lantern! The Lanterns of Life… the entire planet, infected by Sinestro’s Ultraviolet Corps has used the power it needed to embrace to become something entirely different, and it is awesome. Things are still a little confusing with these seven forces, but we’re at least getting answers here and there, for what’s happening with them, and the Totality.
Loki is playing so many sides on this war, but now that his brother is back in the thick of things, it’s quite clear where his allegiances lie. He obviously couldn’t help Thor for nothing, so he helped, and took his prize… a picture of their Mother, Lady Freyja. I would also very much like more adventures of Thor, King of Hel, Ruler of the Bloodstorm. That’s a Thor that I can supremely get behind.
The fight with Drakkon and his armies was probably one of the best damn battle scenes I have ever read in a comic book and that is absolutely saying something. Lord Drakkon is so incredibly desperate, now. Rita was easily able to strip him of his powers, but in his desperation he’s about to wipe out the entire Universe, and it’s intense. It also makes me wonder when Tommy himself will come into play here, because he has to, right?

First Teaser Trailer for Live-Action Kim Possible

Normally, I wouldn’t share this. But, Kim Possible was a staple of many childhoods back in the day, and it’s nice to see Disney not giving up on the character. Disney has posted the first official teaser trailer, revealing the logo, and our first look at Kim in live-action.

Kim Possible stars Sadie Stanley, Alyson Hannigan, Patton Oswalt, Todd Stashwick, Taylor Ortega, Ciara Wilson, Erika Tham, Issac Ryan Brown, Christy Carlson Romano, and Connie Ray, and will hit Disney Channel screens in 2019.
