Sony Pictures Entertainment have revealed the first trailer for Ghostbusters: Afterlife, the long awaited, sequel from writer/director, Jason Reitman, the son of Ghostbusters co-creator, Ivan Reitman. The film follows a group of kids that unearth the past of their mysterious Grandfather, a Ghostbuster, who left them a farmhouse and all of his old technology. The group must band together to stop an ominous series of events as ghosts return to a small town, and threaten to overrun the planet.
Ghostbusters: Afterlife stars Carrie Koon, McKenna Grace, Finn Wolfhard, Paul Rudd, and Bokeem Woodbine, as well as returning cast members Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, Sigourney Weaver, and Annie Potts.
The film hits theaters on July 10th, 2020.
