Linda Hamilton and Arnold Schwarzenegger have both been confirmed to return to the Terminator franchise in the latest edition to the sci-fi hit series. After the rights returned to James Cameron, he immediately set to work crafting a new story for the franchise he created. Cameron helped craft the story with a writers room that included David Goyer (The Dark Knight), Charles Eglee (Dark Angel), and Josh Friedman (The Sarah Connor Chronicles).
The new story will not just bring back the original characters, but also plans to use them as a vehicle to pass the torch to a new generation, as well. The new film has no release date, but is set to be the beginning of a new trilogy.
