New Devilman Crybaby Trailer

Netflix has released a new 30-second teaser trailer prior to the release of its much anticipated reboot of Go Nagai’s Devilman, titled Devilman Crybaby. The text in the video is translated to: “Who are you?,” to which the Devilman responds, “My name is Devilman.” The 10 episode Devilman Crybaby anime series is set to release today, January 5th, and will be dubbed in seven languages, and subbed in 23 languages. New Mazinger Z: Infinity Poster

The official website and Twitter page for the new Mazinger Z: Infinity film have released a new poster titled “Rise Up”. In the poster we see the legendary super robot standing in rubble, with a tagline that reads “When the world disappears, the Majin appears.”

It was also revealed that the all new film will be in Italy with creator Go Nagai, for the International Rome Film Festival kicking off on October 26, prior to its theatrical run in Japan from January 13, 2018. Hit the jump to check out the poster in full.

Netflix Announces its Upcoming Anime Lineup

At an event in Tokyo this morning, Netflix has revealed their massive lineup of anime, and it’s quite a showcase of top talent, and franchises. Netflix outlined a slate of 13 movies and series that it plans to bring to the service in Japan and over the next couple of years.

This includes revivals of Go Nagai’s legendary anime/manga series Devilman and Masami Kurumada’s Saint Seiya, as well as the previously announced Godzilla: Monster Planet. Hit the jump for the full lineup, as well as trailers of select properties that are available.

Mazinger Z Teaser Trailer

Check out our first look at the new Mazinger Z feature length animated film. Produced by Ichinao Nagai and Yu Kanemaru – with the blessing of original creator Go Nagai, Mazinger Z is set 10 years after the classic and acclaimed anime of the same name. Currently, there is no release date, but expect to hear more from Toei Animation soon.
