A rumor is swirling that Retro Studios, confirmed by Nintendo to be working on a game for them, is actually working on Star Fox Grand Prix, a racing game based on the popular franchise. Reddit user DasVergeben posted five days ago on the Star Foxsubreddit that the game will be will be “something like Diddy Kong Racing mixed with F-Zero,” with gameplay leaning more towards F-Zero.
Shortly after that, a logo was leaked on the same subreddit, albeit in low quality. The logo above is a higher quality recreation of the logo in question, though its validity has not yet been confirmed. If true, we should expect to hear more at this year’s E3.
Universal Studios Hollywood has announced that on September 3rd, the Jurassic Park ride will officially become extinct, as the company begins excavation on the ride to build a new Jurassic World inspired ride set for launch in 2019. In 1996, Universal Studios Hollywood unveiled Jurassic Park—The Ride, re-defining thrill rides in amusement parks, based on three-time Academy Award winner Steven Spielberg’s epic film.
Now, over 20 years later, Universal is hoping to re-define thrill rides once again, with an even more immersive and technologically advanced experience from the new trilogy of films.
Tom Holland, star of Spider-Man: Homecoming, has been a boon of secret-spilling when it comes to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. I’m sure he has Marvel pulling their hair out, but I’m pretty satisfied with what he’s been saying. According to Holland, Marvel is planning to bring back their acclaimed One-Shot series of short films. While not confirmed, the recent success of the Thor and Daryl shorts indicate a renewed interest for the studio.
I want to do a short. That’s what I want to do. I want to do a 20-minute short with me and [Ant-Man star] Paul Rudd… I think they are planning on doing [one-shot shorts] again. I probably just spoiled a big spoiler. [Marvel Studios president] Kevin Feige’s probably going to be furious.
Tom Holland is most likely in some pretty hot water, now. He accidentally let slip that Spider-Man: Homecoming is the first in a planned trilogy of films for the wall-crawler. Obviously, no details have come to light, but this confirmation is good news.
There is still plenty of room to see Peter grow up Parker and especially Spider-Man in the next two movies, and at the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming, the story is definitely not complete, I’m really looking forward to exploring how it will grow, [and to] see what will happen after puberty. Yes, [they’re] going to be exciting movies. Yes, there will be Spider-Man: Homecoming 2 and Spider-Man: Homecoming 3. Now, you know, sorry, Marvel, oops!
Marvel has surprisingly released the first teaser poster for the upcoming Black Panther film, and promised a new teaser trailer tonight, during game 4 of the NBA Finals. Black Panther is directed by Ryan Coogler, and stars Chadwick Boseman, reprising his role as T’Challa from Captain America: Civil War.

The first teaser trailer for Marvel’s Inhumans television event is finally online, with little more than some fancy visuals, and a voice-over from both Maximus and Medusa. The two are discussing Maximus and his want to be free from the Inhuman city of Attilan.
Admittedly, the more they release of this, the more off it seems to me. Something just doesn’t seem quite right, and I can’t put my finger on why just yet. I’m going to wait and reserve final judgment for actual moving footage of the characters and series, but currently, with each release of image or information, I seem to lose a little faith in this. As usual, though… I’m trying to stay optimistic.
