IT: Chapter Two Dated for 2019


Following the success of their recent Stephen King adaptation It, Warner Bros. & New Line have officially announced that IT: Chapter Two will hit theaters on September 6, 2019. It opened just over two weeks away, and scared its way to a $478.1 million worldwide gross, becoming the highest-grossing horror film of all-time (without adjusting for inflation).

Gary Daubermen, who penned the original, will return to write the sequel. Director Andy Muschietti has yet to close a deal for his return, meanwhile, Barbara Muschietti, Roy Lee, Dan Lin, Seth Grahame-Smith, and David Katzenberg are all expected to return as producers on the sequel that will adapt the second half of Stephen King’s hit novel.


George Romero 1940-2017


The Father of the modern zombie, and one of the most inspirational figures in the history of horror, has passed at the age of 77, after a battle with lung cancer. George Romero is best remembered as the creator of the Night of the Living Dead and its litany of sequels, remaining active up until his death on several projects.

Romero is survived by his wife and three children, and our thoughts go out to his family at this difficult time.
