Sony Pictures Animation has shared the first full trailer for Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse and it is an absolute thing of beauty, with incredible animation and visual styles at work. Phil Lord and Christopher Miller (The Lego Movie) are producing with Bob Persichetti on directing duties.
Shameik Moore(The Get Down, Dope) voices Miles Morales in the film, and he is joined by Liev Schreiber as Kingping, Mahershala Ali Miles’ Uncle Aaron, Brian Tyree Henry Miles’ father Jefferson, Luna Lauren Velez as Miles’ mother Rio, Lily Tomlin as Aunt May, with Hailee Steinfeld as Spider-Gwen, and Jake Johnson as Peter Parker. Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse hits theaters on December 14th.
Spider-Man: Homecoming was a very personal, down to earth story, that really brought Peter Parker down to our level, but it looks like post-Infinity War the webhead is about to traverse the globe. Kevin Feige shared the first details on the upcoming Spider-Man sequel, stating that we should expect quite the globetrotting film as Peter tries to detal with the ramifications of the next two Avengers films.
“We start filming early July,” Feige said. “We film in London. We shot first film in Atlanta. And we shoot a lot of films in London but there’s another reason we’re shooting in London which is, yes, Spidey, of course, will spend some time in New York, but he’ll spend some time in other parts of the globe. We loved how the events of ‘Civil War,’ for as dramatic and intense and politically complex as they were, we loved how Peter dealt with it [in ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’],” said Fiege. “And how Peter dealt with it is, he then went and tried to go back to a normal life. What is it like to try to go back to a normal life after what happens in this movie [‘Infinity War]? Not to mention what happens in the next [‘Avengers’] movie. It’s fun to see that, because he can represent, you know, the world as a whole, as they try to move forward. And you can do it in a way that is tonally unique, and tonally different than, certainly, the two ‘Avengers’ films that people are about to see.”
The Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel hits theaters on July 5th, 2019.

Sony has unveiled a new trailer, finally giving us a hint as to what we can expect from the story for Insomniac’s long-awaited Spider-Man game for the PlayStation 4. In the game, Spider-Man has successfully put away The Kingpin, and is now thinking about hanging up the costume, but the appearance of Mr. Negative throws a kink in his plans.
The gameplay looks fast and frenetic, and absolutely like a wonderful Spider-Man game, full of color and brightness. Spider-Man hits in 2018.
During tonight’s Marvel Animation panel at the D23 Expo, the focus of the show was on Marvel’s upcoming Spider-Man animated series, which premieres on Saturday, August 19th, at 7:00am EST on Disney XD with a special one-hour premiere. The show will follow Peter in his first years as Spider-Man and his attempts at juggling his personal life, and life as Spider-Man.
The voice cast was also introduced, as well! With Robbie Draymond as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, Nancy Linari as Aunt May, Nadji Jeter as Miles Morales, Laura Bailey as Gwen Stacy, Max Mittelman as Harry Osborn, Patton Oswalt as Uncle Ben, Melanie Minichino as Anya Corazon/Spider-Girl, and Joe Quesada as Joe.
I haven’t exactly been the biggest fan of the Cosbaby series of figures from Hot Toys. They started out great with Batman and such, but since then have fallen off with many of the more recent figures. However, these Spider-Man: Homecoming versions have absolutely rekindled my love for these things.
The new series spotlights Spider-Man in his Stark Industries suit, and his homemade suit, as well as Tony Stark himself, in civilian clothes, and his XLVII Iron Man suit. There’s even an adorably menacing Vulture! There are 3 different collectible bobblehead sets, each with different poses and characters throughout. You can hit the jump for the entire massive gallery of figures.
