Japan Getting New 2DS LL Styles


It looks Nintendo is spoiling Japan once again, with the announcement of 3 new Nintendo 2DS LL styles, spotlighting 3 different hit titles. The new handhelds spotlight Mario KartAnimal Crossing and Minecraft. The Animal Crossing and Mario Kart editions are set to launch on July 19th in Japan, Europe, and Australia. The Minecraft edition will launch on August 2nd.

The new styles make beautiful use of embossing and texture, and are sure to be great new additions for collectors. Hit the jump for pictures of all 3 styles in full.

Mario Kart Tour Headed to Smartphones in 2019


Nintendo of America have announced yet another new addition to their growing lineup of iOS/Android Mobile titles, with Mario Kart Tour. The game is set to launch in early 2019, but no other details were added.

This marks Nintendo’s fifth full title, after MiiTomo, Fire Emblem Heroes, Super Mario Run, and Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp.

SNES Classic Edition Launches in September


Nintendo has confirmed that the Super Nintendo: Classic Edition is not only a real thing, but is launching later this year, on September 29th, for $79.99! In the box, you get an AC Adapter, HDMI Cable, and two wired SNES Classic Controllers. The system features 21 titles, including the previously unreleased StarFox 2, which is an absolute shock to the system.

The miniature console also includes: Super Mario World, Donkey Kong Country, F-Zero, Super Mario Kart, Zelda LTTP, SF2 Turbo, Super Metroid, Super Punch-Out, Castlevania IV, Mega Man X, Kirby Super Star, Final Fantasy III, Kirby’s Dream Course, StarFox 1, Yoshi’s Island (First official re-release EVER by Nintendo), Super Mario RPG, Contra 3, Secret of Mana, EarthBound, and Super Ghouls n Ghosts.
