Warner Bros. has released a new short for the upcoming The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part. The new short is holiday-themed with Emmet (Chris Pratt) planning a massive holiday party that can ominously be seen “from space.”
In the end, the lovable builder brings together all of Apocalypsburg. The short features plenty of the humor that made the first film so fantastic, and does a great job of building hype for its sequel, which hits theaters on February 8th, 2019.
Lego has officially revealed their new Voltron set, and it is quite something. The kit is one of the largest robots that Lego has ever produced, coming in at a massive 2,321 pieces. Based on a design submitted by Lego Ideas user Len_D69, the Lego Ideas Voltron is based on the design first seen in the beloved 1984 animated series, rather than the version currently seen in Netflix and Dreamworks Animation’s Voltron: Legendary Defender.
The set includes the ability to form all 5 lions, as well as Voltron itself, as well as the Blazing Sword and Voltron’s shield. If you’re at SDCC, the Defender of the Universe will cost $180 and be available in limited supplies, or you can pick it up from the official Lego website starting August 1st. Hit the jump for more pictures of the fantastic set.
