Warner Bros. Animation has released the first official teaser trailer for the sequel to the smash success, The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part. The film takes place in a post-apocalyptic Bricksburg after the events of the first film. The trailer gives us more of what made the first film so fantastic, and this looks to be just as great.
Reprising their roles from The LEGO Movie are Chris Pratt as Emmet, Elizabeth Banks as Lucy, Will Arnett as Batman, Nick Offerman as Metal Beard, and Alison Brie as Unikitty. They are joined by Tiffany Haddish, Stephanie Beatriz, and Arturo Castro as, respectively, newcomers Queen Watevra Wa-Nabi, Sweet Mayhem and Ice Cream Cone. The film hits theaters on February 8th, 2019.
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, TT Games, The LEGO Group and DC Entertainment have officially announced LEGO DC Super-Villains, the first LEGO game to put players in a villain-centric adventure packed with favorite locations and characters from across the DC universe. The game will allow players to create their own villain, and go on their villainous escapades.
In the game, the Justice League has disappeared, replaced by mysterious impostors calling themselves the Justice Syndicate. All may not be as it seems, and it’s up the villains to foil the schemes of the so-called heroes from an alternate universe. Hit the jump to check out the first trailer.

Warner Bros. Animation has officially announced The Lego Movie 2: The Second Part for release in theaters February 2019. Tiffany Haddish will be voicing a new lead character in the movie, joining returning voice cast members Chris Pratt as Master Builder Emmet Brickowoski, Elizabeth Banks as Wyldsyde, Will Arnett as Batman, Channing Tatum as Superman, and Jonah Hill as Green Lantern.
Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, who wrote and directed The LEGO Movie, wrote the first draft of the sequel script based on a story by Lord, Miller, Jared Stern and Michelle Morgan. It was most recently re-written by BoJack Horseman creator Raphael Bob-Waksberg. Mike Mitchell will be directing.

A few years ago, Lego fan-builder BrickBros UK submitted a Lego Ideas set based on the 2010 film, TRON: Legacy, and now after several years the set is being officially released on March 31st. It marks an instant-buy for me, as the TRON franchise is one of my favorites of all time, being an important guiding factor in my life choices.
The set is relatively small at 230 pieces, but includes Sam Flynn, Quorra, Rinzler, two light-cycles, and a streamlined base for light-disc battles, and races. Hit the jump for the full look at images of the new set.

Tomorrow is September 1st, and that means the long-awaited day for collectors is finally upon us: Force Friday II. Star Wars has unveiled the full lineup of toys, collectibles, apparel, and more for the upcoming Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
