Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for the hotly anticipated weapon-action fighting game, Soul Calibur VI. The new trailer focuses on characters such as newcomer Groh, along with some returning characters in Nightmare, Xianghua, and Kilik.
SoulCalibur VI is set to release in 2018 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. There’s been no word if we’ll be getting any special characters for each edition, as many fans hope.

Due to my hiatus, my coverage of King of Fighters: Destiny has been lacking, but with the season finale next week, it’s a good time to get it up and running again. The 23rd episode, Rugal Bernstein, sees Kyo and Terry take on Rugal, the mastermind behind the King of Fighters Tournament.

Bandai Namco has revealed that the Dragonball FighterZ Open Beta, which has been long awaited, will take place this weekend on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Fans who pre-ordered can start playing the beta on Jan. 13 at 3 a.m. ET; everyone else starts Jan. 14 at 3 a.m. ET. The beta ends for everybody on Jan. 16 at 2:59 a.m. ET.
Bandai Namco’s Twitter account in Spain revealed the beta’s 11-character roster early this morning. Featuring the chance to try out Nappa, Vegeta, Goku, Piccolo, Krillin, Cell, Android 18, Frieza, Beerus, Kid Buu and Adult Gohan.
Taking a break from the fast-paced Tekken series, Bandai Namco announced at last night’s Game Awards that Soul Calibur VI would be coming in 2018. The first trailer can be seen above, but not information is known beyond that.

SNK has released Episode 19 of The King of Fighters: Destiny to YouTube, titled “Labyrinth” it sees the Fatal Fury team take on a maze filled with familiar faces and enemies from the SNK game.

Bandai Namco has unveiled the character trailer for fan-favorite fusion, Gotenks, the result of Goten and Trunks performing the fusion dance. We’re inching closer and closer to the much anticipated release of this incredible game, with more and more characters being added weekly.
Dragon Ball FighterZ releases in North America and Europe on January 26th, 2018 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
We’re getting closer and closer to the finale of SNK’s King of Fighters: Destiny anime on YouTube, with episode 16, titled “Final Round,” now online. This episode sees Terry Bogart and Geese Howard do battle to settle their differences once and for all.

Bandai Namco and Arc System Works have shared the latest character introduction trailer for Dragonball FighterZ, giving us a solid look at Android 18 and her move-set, including some fantastic combo attacks with her brother, Android 17. The game is taking shape, as many characters have been introduced to this point, just a few short months before its release.
Dragon Ball FighterZ releases in North America and Europe on January 26, 2018 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It releases in Japan a little later on February 1.
The world of fighting game development is starting to shift as more and more developers look to other, more established franchises to take their characters, giving us dream match after dream match of worlds colliding. Now, Bandai Namco has announced the inclusion of Final Fantasy XV’s Noctis Lucis Caelum in Spring 2018.
Noctis Lucis Caelum from Final Fantasy XV enters the Tekken 7 ring! Wielding his signature Engine Blade, Noctis is ready to deal heavy hard-hitting blows as he takes on the likes of Yoshimitsu, Devil Jin, Jack 7, and the rest of the Tekken 7 fighters when he enters the King of Iron Fist Tournament in spring 2018!
WB Games and NetherRealm Studios have revealed the long-awaited Fighter Pack 3 DLC for Injustice 2, and it does not disappoint. The already revealed Atom, Ryan Choi, is spotlighted here, as well as the addition of The Enchantress. The big surprise? The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are joining the roster, as well.
A release date for Fighter Pack 3 was not announced, though Atom will be available in early access on December 12th. The addition of the Ninja Turtles, Atom and Enchantress will bring Injustice 2’s roster to a massive 41 playable characters.
Anticipation for the upcoming Dragonball FighterZ is reaching a fever pitch as the game is set to release in a few short months. Now, HORI has announced plans to release a branded fightstick for the game, available to PlayStation and PC players in Japan. Featuring artwork of Goku in his super saiyan blue form, this new joystick, which will retail for 20498¥ (approx. $180), looks to replicate the old Mad Catz layout and has toggle switches for things like turbo button support.
There is currently no release date outside of Japan, but let’s keep our fingers and toes crossed. The stick releases on February 1st, 2018, to coincide with the Japanese launch of the game.

Bandai Namco has shared an incredible new overview trailer for the upcoming Dragonball FighterZ, that details the games online Fighter Lobby, as well as the story mode featuring the new, Akira Toriyama-designed character, Android 21.
In addition to that, the new trailer also reveals that the game is getting DLC in the form of background music from Dragonball, Dragonball Z, and Dragonball GT. Dragonball FighterZ releases in North America and Europe on January 26, 2018 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
After our coverage of the awesome King of Fighters: Destiny had faltered, thanks in part to SNK’s release of episodes slowing down, we’re finally back on track. Things are heating up in newer episodes, with the King of Fighters tournament finally beginning.
