Bandai Namco has revealed that Soul Calibur VI will hit PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 19th, with two different Collector’s Editions for players to purchase, as well as DLC information. The season pass will include three new playable characters, and two armor packs.
The Soul Calibur VI Deluxe Edition will include the game, a season pass, a soundtrack CD and a metal case with four voice-over clips. The Collector’s Editon will include a 12” Sophitia statue, a 120-page art-book, as well as everything included in the Deluxe Edition.
Koei Tecmo, by way of IGN, has revealed that the next installment in their classic fighting game franchise, Dead or Alive 6, will be releasing for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC with a 2019 release window.

SNK and Netmartble have unveiled the first gameplay for The King of Fighters: All Star, a new mobile action-RPG for the fighting game series on iOS and Android. The game is described as a simple, easy-to-control, action RPG featuring voices and effects the series is famous for.
It features characters from The King of Fighters ‘94 all the way to The King of Fighters XIII. Additionally, it will also include new characters specific to the mobile game. You can head over to the game’s Teaser Site for more information.
Bandai Namco is expected to reveal the next SoulCalibur VI character very soon, but a new video was leaked a little earlier than expected that reveals the next playable character is Taki the kodachi-wielding fighter from previous titles.

Bandai Namco revealed the latest playable character for SoulCalibur VI as Siegfried Schtauffen, the Zweihänder-wielder and one of the central characters of the story throughout the entire series.
After losing to Kilik and his comrades in the form of Nightmare, Siegfried awoke in an unfamiliar place and he is now unable to free himself from the unforgiving memories of his time spent as the cursed sword’s puppet. The memory of having killed his own father is haunting him. His true nightmare has only just begun…Full of regrets, he is looking for redemption and he desperately wants to free himself from the cursed sword’s grasp!
It was teased earlier this week that The Witcher’s Geralt of Rivia would be making an appearance in a game outside of his own, and speculation was running wild for what it could be. Well, let the speculation end, as Geralt has been revealed as a playable character for the upcoming Soul Calibur VI.

Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for the hotly anticipated weapon-action fighting game, Soul Calibur VI. The new trailer focuses on characters such as newcomer Groh, along with some returning characters in Nightmare, Xianghua, and Kilik.
SoulCalibur VI is set to release in 2018 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. There’s been no word if we’ll be getting any special characters for each edition, as many fans hope.

Due to my hiatus, my coverage of King of Fighters: Destiny has been lacking, but with the season finale next week, it’s a good time to get it up and running again. The 23rd episode, Rugal Bernstein, sees Kyo and Terry take on Rugal, the mastermind behind the King of Fighters Tournament.

Bandai Namco has revealed that the Dragonball FighterZ Open Beta, which has been long awaited, will take place this weekend on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Fans who pre-ordered can start playing the beta on Jan. 13 at 3 a.m. ET; everyone else starts Jan. 14 at 3 a.m. ET. The beta ends for everybody on Jan. 16 at 2:59 a.m. ET.
Bandai Namco’s Twitter account in Spain revealed the beta’s 11-character roster early this morning. Featuring the chance to try out Nappa, Vegeta, Goku, Piccolo, Krillin, Cell, Android 18, Frieza, Beerus, Kid Buu and Adult Gohan.
Taking a break from the fast-paced Tekken series, Bandai Namco announced at last night’s Game Awards that Soul Calibur VI would be coming in 2018. The first trailer can be seen above, but not information is known beyond that.

SNK has released Episode 19 of The King of Fighters: Destiny to YouTube, titled “Labyrinth” it sees the Fatal Fury team take on a maze filled with familiar faces and enemies from the SNK game.

Bandai Namco has unveiled the character trailer for fan-favorite fusion, Gotenks, the result of Goten and Trunks performing the fusion dance. We’re inching closer and closer to the much anticipated release of this incredible game, with more and more characters being added weekly.
Dragon Ball FighterZ releases in North America and Europe on January 26th, 2018 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
We’re getting closer and closer to the finale of SNK’s King of Fighters: Destiny anime on YouTube, with episode 16, titled “Final Round,” now online. This episode sees Terry Bogart and Geese Howard do battle to settle their differences once and for all.

Bandai Namco and Arc System Works have shared the latest character introduction trailer for Dragonball FighterZ, giving us a solid look at Android 18 and her move-set, including some fantastic combo attacks with her brother, Android 17. The game is taking shape, as many characters have been introduced to this point, just a few short months before its release.
Dragon Ball FighterZ releases in North America and Europe on January 26, 2018 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. It releases in Japan a little later on February 1.
