Nintendo has confirmed that the Super Nintendo: Classic Edition is not only a real thing, but is launching later this year, on September 29th, for $79.99! In the box, you get an AC Adapter, HDMI Cable, and two wired SNES Classic Controllers. The system features 21 titles, including the previously unreleased StarFox 2, which is an absolute shock to the system.
The miniature console also includes: Super Mario World, Donkey Kong Country, F-Zero, Super Mario Kart, Zelda LTTP, SF2 Turbo, Super Metroid, Super Punch-Out, Castlevania IV, Mega Man X, Kirby Super Star, Final Fantasy III, Kirby’s Dream Course, StarFox 1, Yoshi’s Island (First official re-release EVER by Nintendo), Super Mario RPG, Contra 3, Secret of Mana, EarthBound, and Super Ghouls n Ghosts.

Nintendo has released the endlessly-catchy theme song that present in the new gameplay trailer for Super Mario Odyssey, and it’s something else. A big brass band plays, with some fantastic meta vocals by Pauline, the damsel-in-distress from the original Donkey Kong game, who just so happens to also be the mayor of New Donk City, the home of Odyssey.
UNIQLO has unveiled the winners of their UT Grand Prix design contest after a partnership with Nintendo. The video above shows many of the designs in the entire line, which look fantastic. The Magikarp, Pikachu, Star Fox, Kirby, and Metroid designs being some of the stand-outs in the crowd for me.
For the full line, you can check out the OFFICIAL PAGE ON UNIQLO. No word on these making it to the North American UNIQLO stores, but there really isn’t any reason for them not to.
