No Post-Credit Scene for Wonder Woman

Wonder Woman officially has no post-credits scene, making the Suicide Squad tag a bit of an odd duck for DC’s future. Possibly a one-off to help setup Justice League in the near future. CinemaBlend caught up with producer Charles Roven. “I’m not going to say we’d never do one,” Roven hinted. “There was one in Suicide Squad. But I don’t think that we want to feel that we’re forced to do something just because we didn’t in the past.” While I feel that an end-tag here could have been very beneficial for the future of Justice League, DC Entertainment’s next, most … Continue reading No Post-Credit Scene for Wonder Woman

First Look at Aquaman’s Mera

mera

We haven’t seen a whole lot in the way of visual style for James Wan’s vision of Aquaman yet, but he decided to share a bit of good news today. Over on his official Twitter account, Wan posted the first image of Amber Heard as Mera in the film, which is currently filming. While Heard will first be seen in Justice League later this year, the only shot we have of her was grainy and muted, while this new photo is incredibly colorful and bright. An absolute step in the right direction for DC Films, that’s for sure.

New Comic Books: May 17

As expected, this week was filled to the brim with fantastic books, and a few unexpected surprises that filled me with absolute glee. It was a fantastic week for comics, with some of the most incredible stories coming to a close, and one-offs filled with great moments by wonderful writers and artists. By far, the biggest surprise this week is Batman #23, The Brave and the Mold. A one-shot story written by Tom King, with art by Mitch Gerads (the same team we talked about earlier with Mister Miracle). I didn’t know this team-up was happening, but seeing Batman and … Continue reading New Comic Books: May 17

New Mister Miracle Comic Announced

Mister Miracle is an incredible character that few know much about. He was created by the legendary Jack Kirby, after a fallout with Marvel over creator rights, and had the epitome of 70’s style kaleidoscope comics, with space adventures and all kinds of ridiculous ideas at play. Born Scott Free, Miracle is an escape artist who after being imprisoned on Darkseid’s home planet of Apokolips, due to his “New God” status, escaped and made it home safe to his family on New Genesis. Written by Tom King, most recently of the notable Vision book with Marvel, and groundbreaking Omega Men … Continue reading New Mister Miracle Comic Announced

Wonder Woman Final Trailer

The final full trailer for Wonder Woman before the film’s release has finally hit, and it is one hell of a trailer indeed. We see a lot of the same footage as usual, but with plenty of new footage of a young Diana, and see some new shots of the war. It’s a grand trailer for one of the most anticipated films of the year. Each new piece of footage I see for this makes me more and more excited, and I absolutely can’t wait. The only thing I’m a little upset about, is that we still haven’t seen Ares, … Continue reading Wonder Woman Final Trailer
