Marvel Studios Reveals Black Widow to Start Phase 4

Beginning the first of our many (catching up) posts from SDCC this weekend, Marvel has revealed that Black Widow will start Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In addition to the logo above, we also have a full cast breakdown of who everyone will be playing, as Scarlett Johansson will reprise her role as Natasha Romanov in the standalone film. David Harbour will play Alexei, aka Red Guardian, a Cold War counterpart to Captain America whose comic book counterpart often battled the Avengers. Rachel Weisz will play Melina, a mysterious character with connections to the Red Room, rumored to be Iron Maiden. Florence Pugh is playing Yelena Belova, the new Black Widow named by the Red Room. O.T. Fagbenle is playing Mason, another mysterious character many believe to be the Taskmaster.

First Hellboy Trailer Now Online

Lionsgate has shared the first official trailer from the upcoming Hellboy reboot, from director Neil Marshall (Doomsday). The trailer is filled with cheesy jokes, and monster action, and looks like it’s going to differentiate itself fairly well with the classic Guillermo Del Toro films. Hellboy stars David Harbour as the titular demon, Ian McShane (American Gods) as Professor Trevor Bruttenholm, Milla Jovovich (The Fifth Element) as Nimue aka the Blood Queen, Sasha Lane (American Honey) as Alice Monaghan, Penelope Mitchell (Hemlock Grove) will play the elder witch Ganeida, and Daniel Dae Kim (LOST) is playing Major Ben Daimio. New Hellboy Poster Unveiled – Trailer Drops Thursday

IGN and the Official Hellboy Twitter account have revealed a new poster for the upcoming Hellboy reboot, as well as the news that the first trailer will drop this Thursday. Hellboy stars David Harbour as the titular demon, Ian McShane (American Gods) as Professor Trevor Bruttenholm, Milla Jovovich (The Fifth Element) as Nimue aka the Blood Queen, Sasha Lane (American Honey) as Alice Monaghan, Penelope Mitchell (Hemlock Grove) will play the elder witch Ganeida, and Daniel Dae Kim (LOST) is playing Major Ben Daimio.

New Image from Hellboy Unveiled

Empire has revealed a new image from the upcoming Hellboy reboot, featuring star David Harbour as the titular hero. We still haven’t seen an official trailer for the film, but with new images popping up, we should see something sooner, rather than later. In the meantime, here’s a quote from director Neil Marshall about adapting the source material: “It was always a case of, ‘When in doubt, go back to the source material.’ Some of the stuff is pretty sick. First Poster for Hellboy Debuts

Lionsgate has released the first official poster for the upcoming Hellboy reboot starring David Harbour, and it’s an epic first look for the film, and could be a signal that a trailer will show up, soon. First Look at David Harbour as Hellboy

In a pretty surprising move, Lionsgate has released the first official look at Stranger Things star, David Harbour, as the gun-toting paranormal investigator Hellboy in the upcoming reboot. This new version of the character looks straight out of the comics, and he looks absolutely incredible.

This film just keeps getting better and better, and I can’t believe how excited I am for it. Hit the jump to take a full look at Hellboy, in all his badass glory.

Hellboy Getting an R-Rated Reboot

Let’s start with the bad news: we are absolutely 100% not seeing Ron Perlman reprise his role as Big Red, with Guillermo Del Toro at the helm of Hellboy 3. That’s not happening. However, let’s move on to the good news. Hellboy is getting a rated R reboot, with director Neil Marshall (Game of Thrones, The Descent, Constantine, Doomsday) at the helm. The other amazing bit? Stranger Things star, David Harbour, has been cast as Hellboy.
