Star Trek: Discovery Season 2 Trailer Now Online


CBS All Access has shared the first trailer for season 2 of Star Trek: Discovery, with the reveal of a bearded Spock, played by Ethan Peck (The Sorcerer’s Apprentice) in the new season, as well as a ton of new footage from the upcoming season.

This looks like a considerable improvement from the first season, with many of the new beats and visuals looking fantastic. Season 2 of Star Trek: Discovery hits CBS All Access on January 17th.


New Aquaman Logo Revealed


Aquaman director, James Wan, took to Twitter this afternoon to reveal an all-new logo for his upcoming DC Entertainment adaptation, and it’s quite a bit different from DC’s usual fare with brightness and crystal being the star here. Additionally, he revealed that we’ll see the first trailer for the film at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, starting on July 19th.

Aquaman will be joined at SDCC by Wonder Woman 1984, and Shazam! – both films are due out next year, so expect Warner Bros. to have a big showing in Hall H this year. Aquaman hits theaters on December 21st.

Justice League Cosbabies Revealed by Hot Toys



Hot Toys had a big weekend with Justice League, after revealing their incredibly detailed 1/6 scale figures, they’ve also revealed a full set of Cosbaby figures. The figures stand approximately 10-11 cm. tall, and come with accessories such as Superman’s magnetic heat-vision eyes.

The figures are available as a set or individually, and consists of Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Aquaman, Cyborg, and Mera. No release date has been set, but they’ll be available in Q3 or Q4 2017. Hit the jump to check out the full line.

DC Entertainment Confirms Flashpoint & More



During their Hall H presentation, Warner Bros. got the ball rolling strong, showing a montage of logos for upcoming DC Entertainment properties. The list includes films we knew were coming, as well as confirmation of others, and even a few surprises.

Suicide Squad 2, and Wonder Woman 2 were both confirmed. Along with Shazam, The Batman, Justice League Dark, and Batgirl. The big surprise, though? Flashpoint, the line-wide prelude to the New 52 reboot has been confirmed as in development at Warner Bros. No further details are available, but we should know more in the coming months after Justice League.

Ant-Man and the Wasp Casting Announcement



Marvel Studios’ Hall H presentation was a boon for upcoming films that have yet to see much attention. Ant-Man and the Wasp, the upcoming sequel to the hit film directed by Peyton Reed has added some heavy hitters to their cast.

Michelle Pfeiffer has been cast as Janet Van Dyne, the wife of Michael Douglas’ Hank Pym, and mother of Hope Van Dyne. Meanwhile, Laurence Fishburne has been cast as Dr. Bill Foster, who in the comics acts as an assistant to Tony Stark and Hank Pym that even gains Pym’s growing powers and becomes Goliath.

Captain Marvel Details Revealed



During their Hall H presentation, Marvel Studios revealed our first details on the upcoming Captain Marvel movie. Samuel L. Jackson is confirmed to return as Nick Fury, but he’ll still have both of his eyes! The reason? The film takes place in the 90’s, and will act as a loose prequel to 2008’s Iron Man.

The other biggest takeaway is that the film’s primary villain will be the Skrulls, marking the iconic alien race’s first live-action appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

New Thor: Ragnarok Trailer


Marvel Studios has released a new trailer for Thor: Ragnarok, unveiled during their Hall H presentation. The new trailer is filled with new footage, as well as better looks at the new Hulk, whom, after being in that form for so long, has developed an increased intelligence and more of an ability to speak!

The trailer even gives us more story, and what to expect as far as Loki’s role in all of this. Thor: Ragnarok hits theaters on November 3rd.

Extended Comic-Con Justice League Trailer


Warner Bros. has unveiled a new, extended trailer for Justice League during their Hall H presentation loaded with new footage and story points, as well as our first look at Steppenwolf, and Themyscira in the film. The trailer is action-packed with moments, and does a great job of building hype for the film.

It even leaves us with a bit of a tease at the end, with a mystery figure approaching Alfred and him hoping that the figure’s appearance is “not too late.” Justice League hits theaters on November 17th.

First Footage of Rocko’s Modern Life: Static Cling


Nickelodeon is resurrecting their classic and fan-favorite wallaby and friends, after Rocko, Heffer, and Filburt, all step out of their home after being stuck in the 90’s for 22 years. The trio step into the new world of technology, superhero movies, and coffee chains, and immediately become addicted, while Rocko isn’t exactly enjoying any of it.

Rocko’s Modern Life: Static Cling is set to premiere on Nickelodeon in 2018.

WB Dates 2 Films for 2020


Ahead of their much anticipated San Diego Comic-Con panel in Hall H this weekend, Warner Bros. has announced that they’ve dated 2 untitled films for release in 2020. The films are currently an absolute mystery, but we’re most certainly expected to hear something in regards to Wonder Woman 2, as the film has officially become the third-highest grossing film in Warner Bros. history, behind The Dark Knight, and The Dark Knight Rises.

It’s possible that one of them could be The Flash, and the other The Batman, though The Batman has been rumored for a 2019 release as Matt Reeves is expected to fast-track the film.

Posters for Marvel’s The Defenders & Punisher


Marvel Studios has unveiled two new posters that they’ll be giving out to attendees at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. The first, seen above, is a cool promotional poster for The Defenders featuring our 4 heroes in what amounts to their costumes at this point, stylized with a colorful New York back-drop.

The second, however, seen after the jump, gives us our first look at The Punisher logo, and the usual stylized artwork of Frank Castle holding a sniper rifle, bloodied and battered. It’s a cool poster, that falls in line with the usual initial style these posters are released as. Hopefully, we’ll see some sort of trailer or footage at SDCC!

Full Black Panther Details and Image Gallery


Entertainment Weekly has dropped a massive bomb of Black Panther images and details! There’s full character breakdowns, as well as story and plot points, and a good deal of direction for where the film is heading. As well as new shots of T’Challa in costume as Black Panther, there are also first looks at Nakia, Killmonger, Shuri, Okoye, Ramonda, the returning Everett Ross, and many more.
