Halo: Outpost Discovery Revealed For Five Dates Across Country

Microsoft has revealed a first look at their upcoming Halo: Outpost Discovery event that will be making the rounds at five different locations across the country. The touring fan experience will offer players the chance to “step into Halo’s beloved science fiction setting like never before, with immersive themed attractions, interactive in-universe encounters, the latest playable game releases, and so much more.”

Attractions will include The Halo Ring Experience, where fans can interact with a real-life Warthog, take part in epic laser tag battles, and experience the latest in simulation and VR technologies, as well as hundreds of game stations featuring the Halo video game series, themed panels featuring the creators of the game, special guests and workshops.

Ash’s Pikachu Now Available in Pokémon GO

In celebration of the one-year anniversary of Pokémon GO, Niantic has announced that players can now catch Ash’s Pikachu (seen above) in the game. Celebrations had begun weeks ago with a larger update to gyms, and the introduction of raids, it would seem they weren’t done yet. One top of the new Pikachu, players can also purchase Anniversary Boxes.

Ash’s Pikachu will be available in the wild from 1pm PST/3pm CST/4pm EST on July 6, 2017 until 1pm PST/3pm CST/4pm EST on July 24, 2017. The in-game shop will be selling Anniversary Boxes during that time. No price has been announced, but boxes will give you Incubators, Max Revives, Raid Passes, and Ultra Balls.

In celebration of the one-year anniversary of the phenomenon, Niantic has announced the Pokemon GO Fest Chicago on July 22nd. This accompanies the Solstice Event that begins on June 13th. The Solstice Event will feature XP bonuses for accurate throws, discounted Lucky Eggs, and Fire-type and Ice-type Pokémon.
