Marvel’s Inhumans miniseries event debuts in September, and will run on the 9:00pm Friday timeslot, which conveniently enough has also been set aside for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. next season, as well. While there was initially some confusion, Marvel has cleared it up and announced that S.H.I.E.L.D. will be premiering January 2018, and run for a full 22-episode season, with no interruptions.

This is great news for fans of the show, as waiting those several weeks when the show goes on Winter break is always agonizing. It’s also nice to have that confusion cleared up, as well.
