At the end of season 4, Coulson and his rag-tag group of agents were captured by a mysterious organization, and upon waking up, found themselves in deep space. Season 5 is set to continue that story, with the gang being kept aboard what looks like a Kree vessel, attempting to stop a threat to the Earth, and save themselves.

Early set photos of Marvel’s Inhumans showed Serinda Swan with her head shaved, leaving many of us uncertain as to what exactly was going on. Initially it was thought to be a way to make adding the CG hair easier for post, but it would appear we were wrong. The final trailer for Marvel’s Inhumans shows Medusa’s dangerous locks have been cut off, rendering her powers useless.
She is, of course, still immensely formidable, as shown in the trailer. But, time will tell as to the fate of Medusa and her kingdom. Marvel’s Inhumans hits IMAX theaters with its first two episodes this Friday.
Marvel Studios has released the first clip of Marvel’s Inhumans, and it’s essentially an extended version of the clip we saw in the IMAX trailer, featuring our first look at Medusa’s hair. It shows us about the same amount of her hair, but at least gives us an idea of her personality in the series.
I’m trying to be cautiously optimistic about Marvel’s Inhumans, as I want it to be good. I want it to be great, actually. It has the potential to be so beautiful, and exciting. But, we’ll have to see where things go with the show.
IMAX has debuted a new trailer alongside Marvel Studios for their upcoming collaboration on Marvel’s Inhumans, the anticipated television about Marvel’s royal family. Compared to the last trailer, this is fantastic. Filled with new footage, fully realized visual effects, and our first looks at some of the most important aspects this show will feature.
We finally get a look at Medusa’s hair in motion, as well as more shots of Lockjaw, and a more fleshed out piece of the story. Marvel’s Inhumans premieres in IMAX on September 1st, with the show premiering on ABC September 29th.
Marvel Studios has debuted the San Diego Comic-Con poster for their upcoming Inhumans series on ABC, with art by Jae Lee. This poster does more to promote the show than anything they’ve released up to this point, even going so far as to make the horrendous costumes look justified.
Marvel’s Inhumans explores the never-before-told epic adventure of the royal family including Black Bolt, the enigmatic, commanding King of the Inhumans, with a voice so powerful that the slightest whisper can destroy a city. After the Royal Family of Inhumans is splintered by a military coup, they barely escape to Hawaii where they are greeted with surprising interactions with the lush world and humanity around them. Now they must find a way to reunite with each other and return to their home before their way of life is destroyed forever. Inhumans premieres in IMAX on September 1st, and on ABC September 29th.
While everything we’ve currently seen of Marvel’s Inhumans doesn’t instill the utmost confidence in the mini-series, it’s still one to look out for. The series is rumored to have a $200 million-plus budget, with MCU-level visual fx to boast about. Inhumans will premiere its first two-episodes in an IMAX limited engagement for two weeks on September 1st, and now we have our television premiere date, as well: September 29th, at 9PM EST.
A new poster was also released featuring the three leads in the Inhuman royal family: Anson Mount (Hell on Wheels) as Black Bolt, Serinda Swan (Smallville) as Medusa, and Iwan Rheon (Game of Thrones) as Maximus the Mad. Hit the jump to see the poster in full.

It would appear that Marvel is taking a less conventional route for the Inhumans television show, with regards to the fan-favorite Agents of SHIELD. Inhumans will be taking SHIELD’s 9pm Friday timeslot beginning after its IMAX premiere in September. After which, the show will run for its full season. Then, in 2018, Agents of SHIELD will premiere its fifth season in the same timeslot, many months after its usual October premiere date.
Perhaps the Inhumans show will have more of an impact on Agents of SHIELD after all? The SHIELD season finale is tomorrow night, so perhaps we’ll see a bit of tease for more crossover than initially let on?
