At this point, it seems like we’re talking about a new Disney+ series every day. Variety is reporting that Marvel Studios is working on a six-to-eight episode miniseries that will focus on Jeremy Renner’s Clint Barton, aka Hawkeye, as well as his comic book protege, Kate Bishop. The series will see Barton pass the torch to the younger archer.
Currently there is no creative team attached, but Kevin Feige will be producing, so expect news after the release of Avengers: Endgame later this month. Kate Bishop was a member of the Young Avengers, who took on the codename Hawkeye after the death of Clint Barton. After his return, the two shared the title, even co-headlining a book together.
