Actress Nina Bergman has posted a series of tweets revealing that Universal is working on a new film adaptation of the popular video game franchise, Doom. This isn’t the first time the series has been adapted, as 2005 saw Dwayne Johnson and Karl Urban star in a much-maligned film based on the original game.
Though far from confirmation, it’s likely given the success of the most recent reboot of the game by iD Software that Universal may be looking to build a new film franchise stemming from the hype of the series, currently. Hit the jump to check out the tweets in question.
