In celebration of the one-year anniversary of Pokémon GO, Niantic has announced that players can now catch Ash’s Pikachu (seen above) in the game. Celebrations had begun weeks ago with a larger update to gyms, and the introduction of raids, it would seem they weren’t done yet. One top of the new Pikachu, players can also purchase Anniversary Boxes.

Ash’s Pikachu will be available in the wild from 1pm PST/3pm CST/4pm EST on July 6, 2017 until 1pm PST/3pm CST/4pm EST on July 24, 2017. The in-game shop will be selling Anniversary Boxes during that time. No price has been announced, but boxes will give you Incubators, Max Revives, Raid Passes, and Ultra Balls.
