Deadline is reporting that The Weinstein Company and Dimension Entertainment are working on a television reboot of the popular Sin City franchise. Created by Frank Miller, the series came to mainstream prominence after the success of its cult-classic live-action adaptation. After an unimpressive sequel, it looks like they’re going back to the drawing board.
Former The Walking Dead showrunner Glen Mazzara (The Shield), is set to pen the script, which is meant to be vastly different from its source material, with new character and stories set in the world. Len Wiseman (Underworld, Live Free or Die Hard) is set to direct the pilot. The show currently has no home network, but many are expressing interest, supposedly.
