Fullmetal Alchemist

The first full trailer for the live-action Fullmetal Alchemist film, which has been in production for quite a while over in Japan, is now online, and it’s a hell of an impressive trailer. The effects for Alphonse, and Fullmetal’s arm look amazing, and the scene in which the boys lose their bodies is Doctor Strange level, in my opinion. Even the effects for using alchemy look beautiful in motion. The text that flashes on screen translates to “The arm and leg of the older brother, and the younger brother’s entire body, were taken by the forbidden alchemy. Their adventure to take back everything they’ve lost begins.”

I am so thoroughly impressed with this trailer. Unbelievably so, honestly. I am a massive fan of the original anime, though I need to catch up with Brotherhood. With that in mind, and this film coming out, Brotherhood has now sky-rocketed to the top of my list, once we’re finished with Sailor Moon.
